Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is approaching!  Here is the notice that went home today. 

Dear Families,

On Thursday, February 14^th we are going to be celebrating Valentine’s Day during snack time.  This year our classroom celebration will be “Valentine’s Day in a Box”.  To do this, each child will be asked to decorate a shoebox for themselves with a Valentine’s Day theme (ribbon, wrapping paper, construction paper, paint and/or crayons, markers, crayons).

Inside each box, please place the following:

1.       One snack

2.      One candy treat (something Valentine’s Day theme, nut free please)

3.      One juice box or small drink

4.      One small surprise that can be used here at school (pencil, eraser, glue-sticks, bookmark, etc…)

The children will also be passing out and receiving Valentine’s Day cards from the class.  Below is a list of our class so your child can put the names on the cards.
