It's our first full week back after the break! With a new year comes some new things in room 13. On xtramath, everyone has been switched (if they weren't already on it) to multiplication! This should really help us with our automaticity of our facts!
We are also starting a new unit this week in Science. We'll be starting off with sound, and we'll have a special guest this week to help us kick off our unit. There are a lot of great sound resources here on the blog, so make sure you check them out.
We will also be starting our preparation for ELA MCAS (it is in March). We'll be working on reading test taking strategies, practicing with old MCAS tests, and working on how to write an open response.
