Last week (December 8-14) was Computer Science Education Week, and in celebration of that we participated in the "Hour of Code."
To learn more information about the hour of code you can visit: http://code.org That website is "a public 501c3 non-profit dedicated to expanding participation in computer science by making it available in more schools, and increasing participation by women and underrepresented students of color. An unprecedented coalition of partners have come together to support the Hour of Code, too — including Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Boys and Girls Clubs of America and the College Board."
We learned a lot about how computer programs work, how to create a line of code, and how to preserve in problem-solving. The best part is we had fun learning it!
