Our Class Haikus

Our class has started our poetry unit.  The first type of poetry we've learned about is Haiku.  Below are a couple of examples of student haiku that they agreed to have published.

I have two old cats

They are very fat and cute

They are black and slow

-Chase

My dad is silly

I like to play with my dad

He is very fast

Water who knows it

It drips and it's refreshing

So very yummy
