Room 13's Haikus

We learned about Haikus on Thursday, and we are so proud of our work!  Some students want to share their haikus.  Please check out these wonderful poems!

"Running"
When you are running
The wind blows in your own face
I love running fast

I like fun squirrels
all squirrels like their large nuts
squirrels are funny

"Mice"
Tiny brown mice crawling
eating yummy cheese in holes
getting caught in traps

-Shannon

"Trees"
Trees are brown and green
home to many animals
trees are big and large

-Shanna

"Bees"
Buzzy buzzy buzz
bees are black and yellow too
watch out they'll sting you

Apple, lemon tree
fruit trees here and fruit trees there
Oh I love fruit trees

Strawberry sweet red
ready to pick juicy sweet
and healthy yummy
